Abolition 2000 – Global Network to Eliminate Nuclear Weapons

To the co-sponsors of Taking forward multilateral nuclear disarmament negotiations (L.41):

The Abolition 2000 Global Network to Eliminate Nuclear Weapons, at its annual general meeting in Berlin on 30 September 2016, voices its support for the draft resolution put forward by Austria, Mexico, Ireland, Brazil, Nigeria and South Africa to, inter alia, convene a conference in 2017 to negotiate a legally binding treaty to prohibit nuclear weapons leading to their elimination.
