ABOLITION 2000 Annual General Meeting 2009

PROPOSAL AND REPORT GUIDELINES
In its continuing efforts to streamline the process for submission and adoption of proposals, group reports and calls for action, the Abolition 2000 Coordinating Committee is considering the following process for three main categories of proposals:

Category A: General Proposals and reports from ad hoc groups
These include general proposals and motions that are not time sensitive. They can be prepared well ahead of the scheduled AGM on May 9th, 2009. They need to be submitted by April 27th, 2009 to Abolition 2000 secretariat, Rideau Institute, c/o Anthony Salloum

Category B: Emerging Issue Proposals and Calls for Action
These include proposals and motions necessitated by relevant developments between April 27th and May 4th. They need to be submitted by end of day, May 5th, 2009 to Abolition 2000 secretariat, Rideau Institute, c/o Anthony Salloum

Category C: Emergency Proposals and Calls for Action
These are necessitated by last-minute developments at the NPT prep com on May 8th, 2009.
They must be submitted by end of day, May 8th, 2009 to Abolition 2000 secretariat, Rideau Institute, c/o Anthony Salloum
