Premier Kazakhstan screening of Where the Wind Blew

Dedicated to the International Day against Nuclear Tests, the Premier screening in Kazakhstan of the film Where the Wind Blew which tells the stories of the nuclear tests in Kazakshtan and Nevada USA, and the successful struggles of the affected communities to reach across the Cold War divide to cooperate in ending the nuclear tests in their regions.

The event will be in English (with translation assistance available in Kazakh and Russian if necessary during discussion part) will include film screening from 17:30 and a panel discussion after the film featuring.
• Special guest Mr. Karipbek Kuyukov, Honorary Ambassador of the ATOM project
• Ms. Marzhan Nurzhan, CYG Member/ Convener of Abolition 2000 Youth Network;
and other guests committed to ending nuclear tests and achieving a nuclear-weapon-free world.
