Greenwich Rally and March for Peace and Economic Justice

April 14, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm EDT

Greenwich, Connecticut is home to hedge fund owners whose speculation in war industry and violent, unjust economy have reaped extreme concentration of wealth from the destruction of peoples, communities and the environment, globally.

Join others on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in downtown Greenwich, CT for the Rally and March for Peace and Economic Justice – We gather with activists, organizers, thinkers, writers and allies of the local community; we call on the 0.01% , the 0.1% and the 1% to right action and to translate their privilege now.

From 11am to 3 pm, the rally will examine extreme wealth disparity and concentration, resource hoarding, violence, war industry, and systemic, economically motivated racism.

Speakers will include:

Ajamu Baraka – National Organizer – Black Alliance for Peace and 2016 Green Party Vice Presidential candidate.

Medea Benjamin – Co-founder, CODEPINK.

Joe Lombardo – Co-coordinator, United National Anti-war Coalition.

Taylor Rae – Freelance writer, blogger #ShiftingPrivilege
